Hi,
Thank you for your questions. Let's go through them one by one:
anthem691 lights are not green-green but green yellow
This is completely normal, no need to worry.
On the AS6 network ports:
The green light indicates that there is data activity / transmission
The yellow (orange) light indicates the link speed
If:
Green + yellow (orange) β the connection is running at 1000 Mbps (Gigabit)
Only green (no yellow) β the connection is at 10/100 Mbps
Since you are seeing green + yellow and the device is working properly, it means everything is functioning as expected and running at full speed.
anthem691 Is AS6 a managed switch that has web admin interface for ports configuration?
No, the AS6 is a non-managed switch. It is designed to be plug-and-play, so there is no web admin interface or configuration needed. This also helps avoid unnecessary processing noise for audio applications.
anthem691 Is there a big difference in sound if an external 10M clock is used?
The AS6 does support it and it can improve overall timing accuracy and system stability. In some systems this may bring better clarity and detail, but how noticeable the change is really depends on your system setup and personal listening preference, so itβs hard to say there will always be a big difference
anthem691 I connected my home router to isolated port. This is the only connection that will work.
I tried connecting home router to other ports and doesn't work, also hang my home wifi network.
For your network issue, this is not typical behavior. Please let us know what device is connected to each port, or share a simple network diagram so we can help check. Also note that the SFP port and RJ45 ports should not be connected to the same LAN at the same time, as this may cause network conflicts or looping issues.
Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.π
